After my friend Tom Tardy started his IT company, I would sometimes assist him by working on some of his big contracts. I was still on the Police Department when I worked the first job. That contract called for installing 400 work stations in a new insurance company headquarters building. It was a several day project. I hadn’t worked that hard in years. I was sore from head to toe from crawling around cubicles wiring computers. Every time I see that building in Chandler (AZ), I quietly cuss it out.
