Detective Steve Blasko was a longtime member of our department’s SWAT team. There was a period of time that Steve had some troubling encounters with dogs during the SWAT team deployments. Unfortunately, he was attacked by dogs and he had to use force to protect himself. The irony is that Steve is a dog person and loves his own pet dogs.
