Each year the Homeland Defense Bureau team assists in protecting Phoenix Fan Fusion (Comi-con) in downtown Phoenix. There are thousands of people in cos-play everyday. It is such a fun event to work. One year, Detective CJ Wren and Fire Captain Gabe Saenz were teamed up and circulated the event together. I told Gabe and CJ that to be more effective they needed to be in cos-play. This is how I imagined them: Gabe would be Gandalf (Lord of the Rings) and CJ could be Princess Leia (Star Wars). They didn’t like the idea.
