In 2015 I tested for a sergeant’s position in the PPD Homeland Defense Bureau. I spent a lot of time preparing for the testing process. I even read the homeland security themed thesis written by Lieutenant Bill Wickers while he was attending the Naval Postgraduate School.
I drew this for Bill to insinuate that reading his thesis had caused me to go blind. I made to “ultimate sacrifice” to read his thesis and deserved a medal.
