I drew this as a Christmas gift for a friend’s father. This is a 1959 Cessna 170B, taildragger. I got to go for a flight in this airplane. It was in beautiful condition. My friend’s father eventually sold the plane. In August 2011, this plane crashed into powerlines while trying to land on a grass strip in Jefferson, Oregon. The two occupants survived, but this beautiful plane was destroyed. So sad.
