In 1999, there was a lot of uncertainty of what was going to happen in our world with computers when the year 2000 came around. There was a lot of speculation that all the computers would shut down and there would be anarchy in the cities.
I actually knew a family that sold their house in Phoenix and purchased land in the AZ mountains so that they could survive when Y2K chaos broke out in the cities.
I used to make our family’s annual Christmas cards. This is the Christmas card I made for Christmas 1999. The inside of the card said, “Merry Christmas from our bunker to yours.”
Our friends and family loved it!
