Doug Edwards was a longtime police officer assigned to the Airport Bureau. He eventually became a K9 officer at the airport. Doug was super smart and very funny. He liked to play cards. I drew this cartoon for him insinuating that “advance K9 training” actually meant training his dog to be a winner at Black Jack! (This is one of my favorite cartoons.)
