My nephew, Victor Hess, is a firefighter/paramedic With the Salem Fire (OR) Department. He loves his career choice and he’s perfect for the job. But, the one complaint he has is that a majority of the calls he goes on are non-emergency medical calls, mostly involving those suffering from the health complications of obesity.
